Time Machine System Restore will list the available restore points available to use and each restore point will include the version of the macOS that was present on your device when you did the backup. If you used a Time Machine backup, you can simply insert the drive back and choose the specific backup time to restore your Mac back to the OS it was running before you installed macOS Mojave. You cannot uninstall Mojave since it’s not a typical application that can be installed and re-installed. If you no longer wish to use Mojave, you can only revert back to the macOS version you were using before or upgrade to a higher one, such as macOS Catalina or macOS Monterey. Once done, you are ready to start using macOS Mojave on your Mac. The system will go ahead and complete other remaining setup processes. After restarting your Mac, you’ll be required to sign in, and then choose between the light and dark mode. This is where having a backup before starting becomes very important. If the installation process goes sideways, refer to the installation requirements again to confirm that your device is compatible. After installation, you’ll need to restart your system to start running the new OS.This will take around 15 minutes to complete. Follow the next instructions on your screen to unpack the installation files and allow your machine to install Mojave. ![]() Click on the download button and wait for the download to complete. ![]()
